What a wonderful friend, a good and gentle man.
A brother to all of us in, "The Jayem Alumni Band."
We loved to hear those stories, from back in the day.
"You,E-moe,Beanie and good ole Ray."
Confined to a wheelchair, never stopped you!
Don't pity "Charlie," for he'll make it through.
"You and Bobby, riding in your old Chevy Van; from downtown Sandston, to play in, "The Best Band in The Land."
We won't forget,"Pecky Breeden, and the things ya'll done.
Attending all of those many concerts and having,lots of fun.
Your tiny little trumpet, so shiny and brute; the sound that came forth, was so mellow and right.
Well, today God called you home and He led you by the hand; to that place called heaven, where you'll play in, His Forever Holy Band.
Brother, May you rest in Peace.
J.D. Taylor
Signed by: The Jayem Alumni Band
By the light, by the light, by the light of the sun,
Well, you came and had a good time;
You joined the JM Band,
By the light, by the light of the sun.
